Chicken Road: cross the road. Grow your multiplier. Cash out alive.

Chicken Road puts a cartoon chicken against an endless stream of traffic.

Overhead view of Chicken Road: a white cartoon chicken stands on the left pavement about to cross a dark multi-lane asphalt road. Circular manhole-cover markers in each lane display rising payout multipliers — 1.01x, 1.03x, 1.06x, and beyond. White dashed lane dividers stretch across the screen. Street lamps and green trees frame the starting position. The UI shows a live online counter and the InOut provider badge at the top.

Every lane you survive stacks your multiplier higher — but one car ends it all. Decide when to walk away.

Four difficulty levels

More lanes means more time between cars, making it easier to build a run. Fewer lanes compresses the road and raises the tension with every step.

Easy
30
lanes

Lowest chance of being hit. Best suited to building long crossing streaks and watching the multiplier compound without excessive pressure.

Medium
25
lanes

Moderate chance of being hit. The road tightens noticeably, and disciplined cash-outs become more important as the run extends.

Hard
22
lanes

High chance of being hit. Surviving past the mid-point requires patience and a willingness to cash out before the multiplier peaks.

Hardcore
18
lanes

Highest chance of being hit. The compressed road pushes the multiplier up faster, but the margin for error is nearly zero from the first step.

How the multiplier works — and when to cash out

Each lane in Chicken Road carries a multiplier that is fixed before the round begins. Cross lane one and you lock in something just above 1×; cross lane two and it steps up again. The progression is roughly geometric — small early on, steeper as the crossing extends. That curve is what makes timing the cash-out the actual skill of the game.

The cash-out button is live from the moment the chicken steps off the pavement. You collect your stake multiplied by whichever lane you have just cleared. Waiting one more lane raises the payout, but it also means surviving one more car. There is no guaranteed safe lane. Cars spawn at random across the full width of the road on every attempt.

Difficulty changes the density of traffic, not the multiplier curve itself. Easy mode's 30 lanes give you more breathing room between dangerous moments; Hardcore's 18 lanes compress the same tension into a shorter crossing, which means the multiplier climbs faster relative to the risk. Higher stakes combined with Hardcore is a sharp edge — the theoretical ceiling is real, but so is the speed at which a run ends.

A disciplined approach is to set a target multiplier before placing the bet and treat it as a firm exit point rather than a moving goal. Changing the target mid-crossing because the run is going well is the most common reason players leave empty-handed.

What ends a round
Car contact
Stepping into a lane occupied by a car loses the entire stake for that round. There is no partial recovery.
Outcome integrity
Provably fair
Car positions are determined by a verifiable algorithm. Players can audit each result independently after the round completes.
